January - May - August
Every school holiday, we host a weeklong Bible Camp for children and youth in the communities.
With over 300 Campers from all over the community coming to learn from the Bible and grow in their faith while having fun.
Bible Club
During school terms we run bible clubs at local schools, every week we have the opportunity to engage with and to teach the Bible to school aged students.
Saturday Children's & Teen Fellowship
Every Saturday, children of all ages from the community come to learn the Bible, play fun games and connect with a Christian community.
Young Adult Fellowship
Last Sunday in the month, Young Adults Fellowship meets to discuss different relevant topics and to gain a Biblical worldview through the preaching of God's Word.
Leader’s Training,
Periodically we train our local church leaders in different areas of service and proper theology to better equip their congregation.
Community Outreach
Each year we reach out to the people in the communities and engage them by witnessing to them through Christmas Party, food donations and a medical outreach.

Our Journey
Tendo Bible Camp was established in August 2021 by Denny & Cassie Nuwagaba, ABWE missionaries to Uganda.
After returning to Uganda in May of 2021 in the mist of COVID lockdowns, the Nuwagaba’s saw the need to reach the youth in the rural communities, who were struggling with lack of purpose and being led astray by false teachers.
In August of 2021, they began a youth fellowship, meeting at a local country club – teaching the Word of God to 20 young people. Each week, the young people would not only bring their friends, but also their young siblings. By the end of September, over 200 teens and children were coming to our weekly fellowships. Knowing that we would continue to grow and our space was limited, we sought a place to of our own, in October 2021, we were able to purchase a piece of land in the heart of Namayumba. This piece of land was a banana plantation which needed to be plowed and structures needed to be built to make it functional. With the help of our friends from GR.Church in Grand Rapids, we were able to put up a teaching hall, a small kitchen/storage building and functional toilets.
